First, the soap is excellent. My skin feels smooth and healthy and clean after using it. I even use it for my hair. My hair is about 2" long and neither oily nor dry. Works great.
Second, the scent is amazing. It somehow combines the luxury hotel experience of every ocean-related vacation I have been on even though it smells nothing like any hotel soap I remember. It just reminds me of the best trips by the ocean.

I’ve searched and searched for the perfect tallow soap and finally found it. Amazing suds and skin feels so nourished. Scent is amazing and could have a tad bit more staying power.

I used to use the Chanel Bleu bar soap from Chanel, but it has been discontinued.

I got this as a replacement because I use Chanel Bleu parfum and wanted a body soap in bar form that doesn’t clash.

It’s great as a proxy and the price is right; however, a single bar seems to not last nearly as long as I would expect.

I got a sample of this as a freebie in an order. The scent is really great and will definitely be using it more in the summer.

As a guy who can barely pronounce half the ingredients in most store-bought soaps, discovering Stirling's Deep Blue Sea bath soap was like finding buried treasure. This brick of actual soap (not that chemical laboratory experiment most brands sell) has become one of my favorites in their lineup.

For this soap delivers what fancy department stores charge $$ for – a perfect clone of Bleu de Chanel's sophisticated scent.

Fair warning, though: once you start using real soap made with real ingredients, you can't go back to box store products. Your skin will stage a rebellion if you try.

This is really good soap! I'm accustomed to genuine "soap" (as opposed to 'bath bars') drying my skin out and getting used up within 2 weeks at the most. This soap doesn't dry my skin out, and unless something goes totally sideways it's going to last around a month. It's not quite as sudsy as a Dove Men Care bar, but it's very sudsy compared to most old-style soap, and it goes a long way. No unpronounceable or mystery ingredients, great performance, good longevity, a reasonable price, and terrific scent! What more does one want from a soap?

Concerning the Deep Blue Sea scent-- I really enjoy this scent. To my nose, the aroma is about as much...forest? evergreen?...as sea, but it's a scent I really enjoy.

I bought this as a gift for my brother and he really enjoys the scent a lot. The soap feels great on his skin and he says that the scent fills the bathroom when showering.

My review is kind of positive and yet sadly negative. I love the soap qualities, skin feel, post shower moisture....but my head and sinuses just do not love the combination of scents in Deep Blue Sea. This is a first for me among all the Stirling scents I've tried.
Overall a great product..but unfortunately it does not agree with my body.

Stirling is exceptional. This is a high quality tallow based soap. The number of delightful scents is abundant, perhaps more than any other artisan. The variety of product is wonderful too. I like how they recycle card board boxes, shredding them to use as packing material. In the end, this is a high quality product at a great value. Huzzah, Stirling

Deep Blue Sea is a winner scent! Soap is high quality!

I initially purchased a few different bars of soap to try out. All were great, but Deep Blue Sea is my favorite. So much so, that I'm now using every possible Stirling product that I can in this scent.

This smells very "clean" and my wife loves it. What more could you ask for?

I am a repeat customer of Stirling products, and this soap bar in specific! The scent is great, smells just like the name, and the Stirling soaps help clear my back acne!

Literally smells SO GOOD! If you need a starter scent and you are overwhelmed by all the amazing scents Stirling has to offer (a good thing) you can’t go wrong with Deep Blue Sea! It’s a good balance between cologne and cleanness.

I'm a woman that loves masculine scents. I recently found your company and ordered 4 very different scents to try out. Out of all of them this was my least favorite from sniffing the packaging. It definitely reminds me of men's cologne. It has an interesting mix of scents so no one scent dominates. The scent isn't bad; it's just not for me. I'm also not the beach/ocean/water type and would prefer to smell like a forest but thought I'd give this a try. The bars are huge so I easily cut it in half for my use. The bar lathers great and my skin feels so soft after using this.

This scent reminds me of men's cologne with a water scent mixed with some sandalwood---one of my favorite scents. I absolutely love it.

Love the Deep Blue scent and this bar doesn't disappoint. My side job is as a mechanic and this soap really cleans the body. Cleaned off grease better than my normal soap and smells 1000% better. Solid product and I will keep ordering it!

You know how some scents hang heavy? Deep Blue Sea doesn't. And I think it's more androgynous than masculine - light, fresh, and clean-smelling. My guy and I both use it and love it. I've also taken to washing my hair with it, and it's doing a great job! It gets my hair clean without stripping it OR weighing it down.

Deep Blue Sea is one of my favorite masculine Stirling scents. It's sophisticated and attractive while keeping a low profile, which gives it a kind of intimacy. I find it to be a little *too* low profile as a shave soap and a beard balm, but the bath soap has really hit that sweet spot. It smells amazing during the shower, and my bathroom has just enough of it lingering during the day to make entry to it a pleasant experience. Followed up with a spritz of the EDT makes this a top tier identity scent.

I got a small bar as a freebie in my order and I'm obsessed with it. Will be ordering more soon, the smell is just incredible!
